The Opportunity:
Avantor is looking for an Associate for the Global Data Compliance team. This is an entry-level position responsible for collecting, evaluating, writing, and submitting data and reports for regulatory bodies. The associate will assist with data gathering and analysis for legal purposes, coordinate document requests, procedure changes, and other quality projects, as well as audit and monitor data, systems, and processes for compliance with policies and laws.
What We’re Looking For:

Education: Minimum of a graduate degree in Chemistry/Life Science or an equivalent subject.

Experience: 0 to 2 years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Good knowledge and experience within the chemicals and lab products industry is a must.

Computer skills including Word, Excel, Access, VBA, and Power BI.

Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).

Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
-
Efficiency in a deadline-driven environment with multiple concurrent assignments.

SAP experience is considered a plus.

Strong interpersonal skills.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Flexibility to work in shifts.
How You Will Thrive and Create an Impact:

Adhere to the workflow instructions/standard operating procedures provided by the business and support product onboarding, review/classification of licensed/restricted regulated materials, and source/create/upload compliance documents/certificates ensuring availability for customers.

Obtain & maintain federal, state, and local product & facility registrations, licenses, & certifications in accordance with regulations and any other licenses necessary to support the business.

Handle customer queries related to product data and regulatory compliance documents.

Complete all assigned tasks as per Service Level requirements specified by the business and meet/exceed key performance parameters.

Liaise with both internal and external customers and provide resolutions with a customer-centric approach.

Stay current on applicable regulations and evaluate their impacts on the business, proposing guidance, procedures, programs, and policies.

Recognize important regulatory changes involving compliance.

Modify & maintain department work procedures.

Perform other duties as assigned.
